Lesson Program

If you are looking for a low-key, no pressure, “do it at your own pace” learning environment, then
Beech Grove Farm is for you.

We specialize in all beginner riders (youth to adult), evaluating each rider to structure a program for your individual needs.

WHAT WE TEACH
Our goal is to educate our students to become a horseman, not just someone that can ride on a horse.  Your lessons will cover equine psychology, biomechanics of the horse and rider, as well as how to communicate with your mount.  This will help you build the confidence and skills to go where you want to go –  whether that's a trek on horseback across America or to successful competition in a local show.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
If you're looking to do something more than just riding in circles, then let us help you create a strategy to become a more skilled rider.  Your mount is only as good as your ability to communicate with it.  We will take the time to make sure that you understand what all of the terms used in your lessons really mean and help you to know where your mount’s feet should be at all times so you can time your cues to achieve perfection.  Together we will better your skills so you can reach your potential and obtain the satisfaction of what you have accomplished through hard work and dedication.
