INVITATION TO VENDORSWe're pleased to offer an invitation to local vendors!
We'd love to welcome food trucks, craftsmen, artisans, musicians, and entertainers to participate in our Festival at the Farm. Do you have an idea that we haven't thought of that would be a fun collaboration? Maybe a skill to demonstrate or a product that would benefit families, new homesteaders, and gardeners in the area? Reach out to us by email so we can make sure there’s space for you! |
GARDENERS & HOMESTEADERSDo you have a plan to make next year’s garden your best ever?
It begins with the soil and it begins in the Fall. Join us for the Festival at the Farm to learn the secrets from farm-family member Stephanie Yarwood, PhD, a tenured professor at the University of Maryland and soil science expert! She has lots to teach us about the cultivation of soil as the beginning of our journey to garden success. Then pick up some composted horse manure and wood chips while you’re here to get your garden jumpstarted well ahead of Spring planting. Make plans to join us for this special event and learn what the experts know for way less than the cost of a PhD education! |
COUNTRY DANCE FOR PARTNERS & SINGLESJoin us for a night of dancing under the stars with your host Anita Baase and your DJ and Dancing Realtor Dean Garrish!
Admission includes four hours of dancing outside at the farm and refreshments at the fire pit. Gather your friends for a fun night of music and boot-scootin’. Admission to the Festival does not include admission to the dance. Please buy your tickets in advance! This is a very special event. Dean is a superstar in his own right, a World Champion in Country Dancing many times over, a master teacher, and a skillful DJ. We’re in for a joyful night of dancing! |
